From plush double coats and flowing drop coats to tight curls and wiry textures, our team has hands-on experience with the nuances of every breed and blend. We tailor our techniques to your dog’s specific coat needs, managing shedding, mat prevention, and skin sensitivities with precision. We are also trained to handle the unique skincare challenges that come with each breed, coat type, and the variety of living conditions we see. Whether it’s dry skin, allergies, or irritation from environmental factors, we know how to choose the right treatments to soothe and support your dog’s skin health.

You won’t find bargain-bin shampoos or off-the-shelf clippers here. Bark Haven uses the same premium, nutrient-rich formulas trusted by high-end human salons, chosen for their gentle pH balance and deep-conditioning benefits. Did you know we don't use hypo shampoos or conditioners? Our products are so high end that irritation is non-existent! During drying, we protect sensitive ears with Happy Hoodies, dampening noise and reducing stress. From ergonomic tables that go low enough for bigger dogs to walk onto them, to low-heat dryers and high-end-shears—is a step above the industry standard, ensuring a flawless finish and a calmer experience.

We also use soft paw mats on each of our grooming tables to reduce fatigue for dogs standing during their grooms. These mats are antimicrobial, helping to prevent bacteria transmission between dogs. For pups needing extra support, we use gentle support straps that help hold them comfortably in place with cushioned belly bands, alleviating leg strain and promoting a more relaxing experience.

Because we are an all-inclusive salon, there’s no extra charge for using the necessary shampoos, conditioning treatments, or skin-soothing products. If your pup has dry skin, allergies, or any other issue, we’ll apply the right solution—at no additional cost—to help bring them comfort and relief. The add-ons we offer are specialized to different pets.

Your dog’s well-being guides every decision we make. We schedule generous appointment windows allowing for 2-3 hours per pet based on size and coat,  so we never rush! We perform nose-to-tail safety checks, and maintain hospital-grade sanitation between guests. By combining advanced tools with compassionate handling, we create a spa day that leaves dogs looking stunning and feeling their absolute best.

We are also Fear-Free Certified, which means we’re trained to reduce stress and anxiety during grooming. If your pet is having a tough time, we use positive reinforcement methods—offering treats, calm encouragement, and gentle handling—to make each visit more comfortable and enjoyable for an already anxious pet!

From relaxing paw soaks and rejuvenating dead sea mud masks to tooth brushing, hydrating coat butters, hair-feathers, and more, these thoughtful extras support your pet’s overall health and comfort.

• Mud Masks: Condition your pet’s coat, remove impurities, and hydrate the skin.
• Paw Soaks: Soothe itching, condition paw pads, and nourish nails.
• Tooth Brushing: Help prevent dental disease—just be sure to continue the routine at home!
• Blueberry Facials: Gently whiten tear stains, brighten faces, and leave your pup smelling like fresh blueberries. (included in each groom, no extra charge)
• De-Shedding Treatments: Our de-shedding service reduces shedding by up to 80% after the first treatment by clearing out the undercoat. You may experience some shedding of the loosened hair over the first 12-24 hours after you take your pup home. A properly groomed, shedding coat works as it should insulating your dog from the heat and cold. This treatment not only keeps your pup healthier and more comfortable, but it also helps keep your home cleaner and improves air quality. (included in each groom, no extra charge, grooms are priced accordingly)
